About

I’m from that strange limbo space between the Gen X‘ers and the Millenials, which means I confuse myself and others more often than not.  I am a librarian in Michigan living with my partner and our cat.

I started this blog to track my journey into and through a master’s degree program in library and information science and to incentivize writing for something other than research papers.  Now that I’ve been out of my grad program for a couple of years, I’ve decided to resurrect this space as a place to create small book reviews and basically talk about all the things I am reading or playing right now.

And so, my blogging adventures continue…

Information helps you to see that you’re not alone. That there’s somebody in Mississippi and somebody in Tokyo who all have wept, who’ve all longed and lost, who’ve all been happy. So the library helps you to see, not only that you are not alone, but that you’re not really any different from everyone else. Maya Angelou
